In this "corner", you will find information that will be beneficial to you during each sport's season. WEATHER HOTLINE- 804-213-9108
The Goochland Family YMCA Inclement Weather Hotline provides parents, coaches, volunteers and staff with up-to-date information regarding weather related closings, cancelations and changes. This hotline is updated by 4 p.m. during the weekday and by 8 a.m. on Saturday mornings during the sports season.
YOUTH SOCCER- 3 & 4 YEAR OLDS
Fall, 2010 registration starts June 1, 2010. Registrations will be taken until September 12, 2010. A $5 late fee will be assessed for registrations received after September 5th. Parents will receive a welcome letter in the mail on September 15, 2010 letting you know your childs practice day, team name, and time. A parents packet will be handed out the first day of practice with soccer rules, program philosophy, policies, and game schedules.
END OF SEASON POT LUCK AND AWARDS CEREMONY - YOUTH SOCCER
A pot luck will be held for all parents and players on Saturday, October 30th at 11am at the Goochland Family YMCA pavilion. Parents are encouraged to bring dishes to share. Coaches will hand out participation medals during the event. What an excellent way to celebrate the season!
